Roger was up against Tomas Berdych this morning Singapore time in the quarter-finals of the Toronto Masters. The last time they played, Berdych booted Roger out of Wimbledon in the quarter-final stage. I can't remember if I was devastated, but I was definitely sad. I think I was also a little bit relieved that I was put out of my misery.

Like in his first round match, Roger was down two sets and a break. Unlike his first round match, a miracle did not happen this time.

The grand plan was to blog about my Taiwan trip, all 5 or 6 days, by the end of today, before I leave for Borobudur tomorrow morning (the flight is at 8). Seeing as I'd just finished packing and it's close to midnight and I'm only done with the first two days, though, it looks like the plan's gone down the drain.
